The old barn seafood restaurant is housed in a former farmhouse which is over 100 years old and heavily beamed throughout with many 'nooks and crannies' associated with older properties of this type. With two open log fires in the main restaurant and pre-dinner drinks lounge the setting is comfortable and relaxed. much of the lighting comes from the many tropical fish aquariums at various points within the restaurant and combined with the general lighting of the restaurant gives a warm and intimate atmosphere. The fish in the tropical tanks are kept as pets and are not on the menu.

Although specialising in seafood we do carry two or three meat dishes on our menu to satisfy the non fish eater. All our fish is purchased fresh from either Grimsby or Birmingham fish markets and depending on the days catch we also have a daily specials board. All our sauces and soups are made on the premises and our vegetables are chosen and cooked specifically to accompany fish dishes.
